This is the final summer at the Seaport for all evicted tenants at South St Seaport. The Pier 17 better know as South St Seaport mall will be torn down starting on Oct 1 2013 and will be reopened for the summer of 2015, made of all new green glass and steel. 2010 Howard Hughes Corporation acquires the Pier 17 mall.2011 Hughes proposes a redevelopment plan of Pier 17. We will not be renewing your lease letters go out to all tenants.2013 redevelopment plan is approved by the city. Oct 1 construction shall begin, allowing existing tenants to stay until Sept 9
